Connecting a computer monitor
You can display the images on your computer's LCD screen onto an external computer monitor. The external monitor
displays the operations you perform on your computer.
To connect a computer monitor
1.
Make sure the computer monitor is plugged into an AC outlet.
2.
Turn off the computer.
3.
Plug the display cable into the Monitor (VGA) port
on the computer.
4.
Turn on the computer monitor (if it is not already on), and then turn on the computer.
5.
Press the
Fn
+
F7
key combination to toggle the display between your computer and the monitor. See

for more information.

Connecting a Com puter Monitor to a Docking Station
You cannot use the Monitor (VGA) port on your computer when the docking station is connected to the computer. Use
the Monitor (VGA) port on the docking station instead.
