Using a BVE-700/700A
In place of an RM-280 editing controller, you can use a
BVE-700/700A editing control unit for cut editing.
For details of BVE-700/700A settings, refer to the BVE-
700/700A User’s Guide.
Setting the VCR constants
When connecting an editing control unit, make the settings
each for HVR-1500 and DSR-1500A/1500AP as follows.
In this case, the VCR constants need to be set each for
HVR-1500 and DSR-1500A/1500AP. Set as follows.
HVR-1500
REMOTE I/F menu item: 9PIN
Setup menu 01 PREROLL: 5s
Switching video input signal: COMPOSITE
Setup menu 05 SYNC SEL: ON
Switching audio input signal
CH1 1/2: ANALOG, CH2 3/4: ANALOG
Setup menu 06 SYNC VTR:
RECORDER
TC MODE menu item: INT PRESET
Setup menu 09 EDIT DLY: AUTO
RUN MODE menu item: FREE RUN
