1-3-2. Starting e-VTR Manager

1.

Connect the LAN cable to the Ethernet terminal on the VTR, and connect the network system.

2.

Check the upper right LED of the Ethernet terminal lights up green.

If the LED does not light up, check that the connection cord of the BKMW-E3000 is correctly
connected. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)

LED (upper right, green): When the cord is connected and power is turned on, this LED lights up.

LED (upper left, orange): When the data is received or transmitted via network, this LED lights up.

3.

Press the Network enable switch on the front panel of the VTR to light up.

4.

Download the supplied application software “e-VTR.exe” to the personal computer (PC) connected
to the network system.

5.

Starts “e-VTR.exe”.

6.

Check that the “Network Device Register” window is displayed.

7.

Press the Add button to display the Add Device dialog.

8.

In “Config Name” field, enter an arbitrary name of the e-VTR. In “HOST/IP Address” field, enter an
IP address or HOST name. Click the OK button.

You do not necessarily have to enter a name in “Config Name” field.
If you do not enter a name, the system uses the IP address or Host name entered in “HOST/IP
Address” field as the name.
