Set the IP address
(1) Press the F5 (SET) button while “M50 : IP ADDRESS” is displayed.

When the F5 button is pressed, “M50 : 000.000.000.000” is displayed.

(2) Set the IP address for network.

When the MULTI CONTROL knob is turned while pressing the HOME button, the blanking
value varies one by one.

Press the MULTI CONTROL knob once, the SHIFT indicator lights up.
In this state, when the MULTI CONTROL knob is turned while pressing the HOME button,
the blanking value varies by the ten.

When the MULTI CONTROL knob is turned without pressing the HOME button, the blanking
portion shifts.

(3) Press the F5 (SET) button.

When the F5 button is pressed, “Save Complete” is displayed.

(4) Press the F6 (EXIT) button to terminate the menu.

Turn the MULTI CONTROL knob to display “M51 : SUBNET MASK”, set the items as the same
procedure of step 5.

Turn the MULTI CONTROL knob to display “M52 : DEFAULT GATEWAY”, set the items as the
same procedure of step 5.

Turn the MULTI CONTROL knob to display “M58 : M50-M52 RENEW”.

Press the F5 (SET) button.

“OFF” is displayed.

10. Turn the MULTI CONTROL knob to display “ON”.
11. Press the F5 (SET) button.

“Complete” is displayed.

To execute “M58 : M50-M52 RENEW”, the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway set by
the above procedures are reflected to the VTR.

Without executing “M58 : M50-M52 RENEW”, the setting values are reflected to the VTR when
the VTR is restarted.

As for other network settings, refer to the operation manual.
