You can obtain CD information (artist,
track, etc.) via Disc2Phone if you are
connected to the Internet and extracting
music from a CD.

To prepare for transfer using
Windows® Explorer

Connect the cell phone to a computer
with a USB cable.

Select
File Transfer
. The cell
phone turns off and prepares to
transfer files. For more information

Computer:
If the
Found New Hardware
Wizard
appears, click
Cancel
to exit the
wizard.

Wait for the cell phone to prepare for
file transfer.

Computer:
If a dialog box asks what
you want to do with the files on the
removable disks (phone memory/
memory card), select
Take no action
.

Computer:
Your phone memory and
memory card are added as removable
disks in Windows Explorer.
Do not remove the USB cable from the
cell phone or computer during transfer,
as this may corrupt a Memory Stick
Micro™ (M2™) or the phone memory.
You cannot view the transferred files in
your cell phone until you have removed
the USB cable from the cell phone.
For safe disconnection of the USB
cable in file transfer mode, right-click
the removable disk icon in Windows
Explorer and select Eject.
For safe disconnection of the USB
cable in File Transfer, right-click both
Removable Disk icons in Windows
Explorer and select Eject. Information
appears on the phone screen stating that
it is safe to disconnect the cable from
the cell phone.
