CUSTOMISING yOUR INSTALLATION
Default operation

Operating your gate in sequential mode and complete opening mode
Successive presses of the same remote control button will lead to the following movements of the gate: Open, Stop, Close, Stop,
Open etc.
Total opening by pressing button 1. Close by pressing the button 1 again. Stop when moving by pressing button 1
again.

Detecting obstacles
When closing the gate, if an obstacle is detected (abnormal force on the motorisation), the gate stops then reopens
When opening the gate, if an obstacle is detected (abnormal force on the motorisation), the gate stops.

Precautions for use
The automatic mode can only be activated if a set of photoelectric cells is installed (see wiring page 25).
The remote control must be placed on the control unit electronics to access the settings.
Access to the settings with a 3-button remote control is not possible.

Place a memorised 2- or 4-button
remote control on the target.
Press button 1 on the remote control
until the indicator light flashes.

Activating automatic closing mode
Press button 2 on the remote control
until the indicator light goes out then
comes on continuously.
Release the button.
The indicator light flashes.

Once step 1 has been carried
out, you can carry out the
following steps remotely
(without placing the remote
control on the target).
When using your gate in automatic mode, standard EN 12 453 requires a set of photoelectric cells to be installed (see wiring on
page 25).
Somfy recommends installing an orange light (see wiring on page 26) and area lighting (see wiring on page 26).
