Exterior Light Control
The exterior light control lever is located on the left side of the
steering column, just behind the steering wheel.
The lever has a collar that can be turned to select different
headlight configurations.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
Daytime Running Lights (DRL) can improve the visibility of
your vehicle during the day. The DRL are automatically
activated when the collar is in the OFF position.
Side marker lights
The side marker lights make it easier for others to see your
vehicle in low-visibility conditions (e.g. fog and rain). To
activate the side marker lights, turn the collar to the side
marker lights position, and the side marker lights and rear tail
lights will turn on.
Note: The DRL will remain on when the side marker lights are
activated.
An indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster
display when the side marker lights are on. See
“Instrument Cluster Display”, page 4-9
.
Low beams
To activate the low-beam and auxiliary low-beam headlights,
turn the collar to the headlight position.
An indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster
display when the low-beam headlights are on. See
“Instrument Cluster Display”, page 4-9
.
