Charging Instructions
5. The vehicle’s SAE J1772 charging port is located behind the
license plate and can be accessed by lifting up on the
spring-loaded rear license plate holder.
Note: In cold weather conditions, ice may form around the
license plate. Remove ice from the area before attempting to
open or close the license plate.
6. Pull the latch outward (to the right) to release the charging
port cover, then pull the cover outward (to the left) to open
it.
7. Connect the charge cable to the vehicle’s charging port. A
spring-loaded clip on the front of the connector engages
with the port to lock it in place.
Note: If the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) has not been
engaged when the charge cable is plugged in, it will engage
“Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)”,
