Touching the Open icon will activate a solenoid inside the printer. This solenoid
moves the top cover latch which then allows the top cover to spring open.
Touching the Cutter icon will toggle the power to the Cutter motor. Touch once to
apply power to the cutter motor and touch again to remove power from the cutter
motor.
Touching the Pickup icon will initiate a series of commands to verify that the cutter
assembly is picked up and parked properly. First, The X Y carriage will move over
to the cutter assembly. Then the cutter assembly will be engaged with the
carriage. The carriage will then move the cutter assembly back and forth in the X
motion direction 2 times. Then the cutter assembly will be moved to the park
position. Finally, the carriage will disengage and return to the carriage park position.
Touching the Advance paper icon will advance the paper 5 inches (127mm).
Touching the Solenoid icon will activate the paper tape solenoid and raise the
paper tape for 5 seconds and then automatically deactivate and lower the paper to
the normal height.
The Net Test button is used for verifying and troubleshooting printer network
