wpa-preshared-key
This command defines a Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA)
preshared-key.
Syntax
wpa-preshared-key

- Input format. (Options: ASCII, HEX)
•
value
- The key string. For ASCII input, use 5/13
alphanumeric characters for 64/128 bit strings. For HEX
input, use 10/26 hexadecimal digits for 64/128 bit strings.

Command Usage
• To support Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) for client
authentication, use the
wpa-clients
command to specify
the authentication type, use the
wpa-mode
command to
specify pre-shared-key mode, and use this command to
configure one static key.
• If WPA is used with pre-shared-key mode, all wireless
clients must be configured with the same pre-shared key to
communicate with the access point.
