snmp-server enable server
This command enables SNMP management access and also
enables this device to send SNMP traps (i.e., notifications). Use
the
no
form to disable SNMP service and trap messages.
Syntax
snmp-server enable server

• This command enables both authentication failure
notifications and link-up-down notifications.
• The
snmp-server host
command specifies the host device
that will receive SNMP notifications.
