Fin Modifi cation

In case of the fi n positioning being so that you need to cut down some
of the top aft end of the fi n to avoid it hitting the hull (very typical on
planning boats with hard chines), please do so as per the instructions
below.
Mechanical Installation
Defi ne the optimal position of the stabilizer fi ns.
1. Drill a 21mm pilot hole at the fi n shaft centre line position externally through the yachts hull.
2. Using the pilot hole as centre line mark and cut a Ø230 mm diameter hole from inside the boat using a suitable cutting Jig & tool.
3. Adjust the surrounding hull to a thickness of 49mm (Sealant included) (SPS55B) and ensure that the internal and external surfaces are parallel
and flat.
