4.5 REMOTE KEY INJECTION (RKI)
The Ingenico 5100 terminal supports Remote Key Injection technology to
enable automated injection of security keys from EFTPOS New Zealand.

Remote Key Injection (RKI) Initialisation
This function allows the ENZ security keys to be injected into the terminal
through the following steps below.

ENZ security keys are downloaded to the terminal from the ENZ host.
NOTE:
The entire Remote Key Injection (RKI) process is managed by EFTPOS
New Zealand when terminals are sent in for key loading. After programming
the terminal, simply initiate a logon to obtain connectivity with the ANZ host.
If the message ‘
RKI INIT REQUIRED
’ appears at attempted logon, then follow
the instructions above to perform RKI and then proceed to logon terminal.
