Groups
Here you can assign the user to Group 1 or 2 or both. For further information on groups see chapter “Group set-

Call addresses
Under

enter the SKS call address assigned to the respective door bell button. Under

add the SKS call address which is saved in the respective indoor station. In general both addresses match.

Here you can choose the licence key you have received from SKS. If the licence key is validated the field

8.3
Group settings
8.3.1
Grouping and Ringing time
The IP gateway can add each user (=client) to one or two group
calls.
In general group 1 is called first. If this call is not answered
group 2 is called afterwards. The administrator determines
for all users whether there should be just one or two groups
(Group 1 active/Group 2 active) and sets the time for one or
both groups to be are called (Ringing time group 1/Ringing time
group 2), which can be found in the SIP configuration below the
list of clients. If the call is neither answered by group 1 nor by
group 2 the mailbox automatically answers the call as long as
it is activated.
As default the ringing time for group 1 is set to 40 seconds,
group 2 is deactivated.
8.4
Address configuration
8.4.1
Mailbox
Here you can set whether and how the mailbox is to be used for the respective call address. If all three boxes are
ticked
(Mailbox active, Mailbox welcome message and Mailbox good-bye message)
a general welcome and
good-bye message are played and the visitor may leave a message.
8.4.2
Saving calls
Under
Maximum saving time of calls
you can determine for how long (in days) calls are saved unless they are
manually deleted by the user. The default setting is 28 days.
8.4.3
Mailbox recording time
Here you determine for all users of the IP gateway how long the recording time should be. If you enter

onds) a visitor is enabled to leave a message of a up to 30 seconds provided that the mailbox function is active
for the respective user (see
chapter “Mailbox“ on page 66). Residents can retrieve their messages via the SKS
my sks app on their smartphones.
The default setting for the mailbox recording time is 10 seconds.
