Settings
9.5.1
Connection
In the menu “Connection”
you can check on all informa-
tion concerning your connection to your IP gateway and
if available switch to a different IP gateway or reset your
password.
Under IP/Domain either the device number of the IP gateway or its
IP address is displayed, depending on how you have configured your
SIP client.
If you would like to access a different IP gateway you can enter its de
-
vice number or IP address in this field and log in with your user name
and password. We do recommend the access via WAN by entering a
hash # followed by the device number, for example #651.
Alternatively ˗ only if the smartphone and the IP gateway are in the
same network ˗ you can open a list of all available IP gateways by
tapping on “Show gateways” at the top left and then pick the IP gate-
way from the list you want to connect to.
In case you have forgotten your password, you can tap on “Password
forgotten?” and ask for a new one by email. To do so enter your valid
email address into the field email and then hit “Reset password” at
the bottom of the touch screen. In the following you will receive a new
password by email.
9.5.2
General
In the menu “General”
you can determine how many
calls are displayed in the main menu.
Apart from that you can also scale the video image and
adjust it to your mobile device. Doing so you can display
the video image in its original size, enlarge it to twice
or three times its size or adjust it to the mobile device’s
screen.
Under “Number of door calls shown”
enter the number of calls you
would like to see in your list of calls when opening the app. If you
would like to have a list of the last ten door calls, then enter “10”.
Under Video scaling you can determine in what size the video is dis-
played on your mobile device. The options “Original”, “Double size”,
“Triple size” or “Adjust to screen”
may be chosen. The bigger the
video is displayed the bigger might be the area that could be cut off
at the edges.
