You have three possible options to react to a call:
Ignore
I. e. you end the call immediately without talking to the
person in front of your door, the transmission of the video
image is interrupted.
Private
If you do not want everybody around to hear what your
visitor is saying you can answer the call with the button
Pivate, i. e. the speech can only be heard via the receiver
function of your smartphone and not via its loudspeaker.
Answer
If you choose the button “Answer” the speech will be put
out via the smartphones loudspeaker.
If installed in your system you can switch on the staircase
or entrance light or similar with the button “Light”.
Using the button “Options” you can, if more than one
camera are installed in your intercom system, switch to a
different camera image.
When choosing “Private” or “Answer”, the call menu opens and a con-
nection from your smartphone to the door station is established, so that
you can now speak to the visitor.
If installed in your system you can use the button
“Light”
to switch on or off the staircase or entrance
light or similar.
After hitting the button a confirmation that the function
has successfully been performed will pop up on your
camera screen:
If there are more than one camera in your intercom
system, you can switch to another camera image with
the button “Options”.
If you use the button “Mute” the transmission of
speech is interrupted in both directions.
As long as the mute function is active this signalled
by a black microphone symbol. As soon as you hit the
button once more speech will be transmitted again
both ways and the symbol changes back to white.
