11. TABLE OF INCIDENTS
PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION
1- No electrical component is
working.
The machine is unplugged. Plug the machine in.
The electrical connection is
defective or in poor condition. Check connections and
connection cable.
High temperature alarm.
Check whether the fan works
and whether the condenser is
clean. Check the condensation
pressure switch.
Wrong settings for the shutdown
thermostat or it is defective. (Full
stock.) Check and adjust the settings or
replace the defective stock
thermostat.
2- All the electrical
components work. The
compressor does not start.
Electronic control. Check that
power reaches the compressor. Replace the electronic plate if no
power reaches the compressor.
Defective compressor. Replace the compressor.
3 - Everything seems to work,
but no ice is produced in the
evaporator.
Malfunctioning pump. Replace the pump.
No water enters the container. Check the water inlet valve.
The water container runs out of
water.
Check the water-inlet electro
valve and replace if necessary.
Check the water level tube.
Ineffective refrigeration system.
(Dirty condenser, malfunctioning
or wrong settings for the
condensation water inlet valve or
pressure switch, or lack of
refrigerant.)
Replace the dehydrator, create a
vacuum and load.
