7. REGULATIONS
7.1 CONDENSER WATER VALVE PRESSURE SWITCH (WATER CONDENSATION)
The pressure switch controls high pressure by opening and closing the condenser water valve. The differential is
fixed at 1 bar (14 psi).
The closed pressure should be 15 bar (214 psi), equivalent to an output temperature of the condensation water
of 38º C. Below this pressure, there may be difficulties in detaching the cubes.
Above this pressure, the life of the compressor is shortened and ice production decreases.
Pressure is increased by turning the adjusting screw clockwise. One turn is approximately equivalent to 1.5 Bar.
7.2 FAN PRESSURE SWITCH (AIR-CONDENSED MACHINES)
The pressure switch controls the pressure through stopping and starting the fan. The differential is fixed at 1 bar
(14 psi).
The stopping pressure should be 15 bar (214 psi). Below this pressure, there may be difficulty in removing the
cubes.
Above this pressure, the life of the compressor is shortened and ice production decreases.
Pressure is increased by turning the adjusting screw clockwise. One turn is approximately equivalent to 1.5 Bar.
7.3 SAFETY PRESSURE SWITCH
The safety pressure switch has the function of ensuring safety from excessive discharge pressure, which may be
due to:
A dirty condenser, poor air circulation or very high room temperature (air condensation).
Lack of water or very high water temperature (water condensation).
The high pressure parameters are fixed
Disconnection: 30 Bar.
Connection: 22 Bar.
