OIL INJECTION PUMP BLEEDING
SUPPLEMENTAL OIL
To assure additional protection during the initial
engine break-in, 500 mL (18 imp. oz) of BOMBAR-
DIER ROTAX Mineral Injection Oil (P/N 413 8030
00) should be added to fuel for the first full filling
of fuel tank. Always remove and clean spark plugs
after engine break-in.
BLEEDING PROCEDURE
Bleed main oil line (between tank and pump) by
loosening the bleeder screw until air has escaped
from the line. Add injection oil as required.
1. Bleeder screw
2. Oil pump lever
Bleed the small oil lines between pump and en-
gine crankcase by running engine at idle while
holding the pump lever in fully open position.
NOTE:
To ease pump lever holding, make a J
hook out of mechanical wire to lift the lever.
1. Smal oil line
2. Engine at idle (fully open position)
