Connecting the grounding strap

Explanation
The grounding strap should be run as close as possible to ground point
(E).
Shorten the grounding strap accordingly.

Connecting the grounding strap
1. Slide the green-and-yellow hose onto the grounding strap a sufficient
distance (see explanation).
2. Widen the grounding strap at the height of the ground point (E) to
create a hole.
3. Attach the grounding strap at the ground point by placing a screw
through the previously created hole.
4. Determine the length required to run the grounding strap to
connection X500.PE.
5. Cut the grounding strap to the right length.
6. Attach the grounding strap to connection X500.PE.
CAUTION
Risk of damage
✔
The grounding strap still must have enough play so that it is able to
follow the support and scissor arms without restriction.
➢ Test the cable before shortening it to make sure that the measured
cable length is sufficient.
