The amount of water supplied by the feed-water dosing unit

is not enough; test as follows:
•
Place the end of the feed-water hose

(behind the flow monitor) into a measuring beaker.
•
Switch on “A5: Pump/SV feed pump” (
AC OUT 5
) in the digital outputs of the
Diagnosis Program
.
•
Check the feed rate for the water: it must be 1 … 1.5 l/min.
•
If necessary, replace the defective feed-water pump including the solenoid valve

Test the signal processing at
DIN 4
of the main circuit board

, and check the cable connection to the flow sensor

as follows:
•
Check display “E4: Aqua dem, current” in the digital outputs of the
Diagnosis Program
.
•
First disconnect both of the plugs of the reed contact

, and then make a short-circuit by placing a jumper at the digital output. Then, if
necessary, pull out the plug of the digital inputs on the main circuit board

, and directly jumper

. Observe whether the display is
“open” or “closed”.
•
If it is defective, replace the main circuit board

. Repair the cable connection is required.
