Fault diagnosis for DAC Professional
Fault 14: No feed water
Fault 14: No feed water
(or Warning message: No feed water)
Trigger for the error:
In addition to the monitoring action by the flow sensor 41-00 during a cycle (internal error 14) the float switch in the
internal feed water tank 04-01 can trigger the error message before starting the program (Warning message: No
feed water). This is only possible with models with internal feed-water supply from an internal water tank.
The cause, the occurrence, and the time in point of the error message will vary, and will depend on the following
factors:
Models without an internal tank or models with an internal tank but with an external supply of feed water:

24-B and Vacuklav

30-B. It is optional for the
Vacuklav
®
23-B and Vacuklav
®
31-B, and for all Euroklav
®
- models if they take the feed water not from the internal
water storage tank 04-00 (e.g. a MELAdem
®
water treatment device is installed).
The flow sensor
41-00 for the supply of distilled or demineralized water at digital input DIN 4 on the main board has
not switched (i.e., has not closed) after the waiting period z22 has run out for water feed before conductivity
measurement. Or, this sensor has not switched (i.e., has not closed) after waiting period z16 has run out for water
feed during the program run.
In both cases, the malfunction 14 will appear not before a few seconds after the program starts, or during the
program run. In the display, the two following warnings will alternate: “
Warning! Water supply ” or “Malfunction 14:
No feed water”, and “ aqua dest. / dem. check supply ”.
Models with internal tank and internal feed of water
This possibility of feed-water supply is pre-set as default at the factory for the models Vacuklav
®
23-B and
Vacuklav
®
31-B, and for all Euroklav
®
models.
The float switch for demineralized water (
04-01 ) on the feed-water side of the internal water storage tank ( 04-00 )
has reported that there is a shortage of water (i.e., the switch is open).
In this case, the error message will occur directly when the power supply on the unit is switched on, or directly at
the start of a program, or at the end of this program –
but never during the run of the program itself. The display
will alternate between “ Warning! Water supply ” and “aqua dest./dem. r efill! ”.

after the start of the program and after the observation
time, or during the program run . In the display, the two following warnings will alternate: “ Warning! Water supply ”
and “ aqua dest. / dem. check supply ”.
