NEVER FILL UP oil in the cutter bar, always
REPLACE it with the prescribed quantity!
Checking the oil level in the mower tank
–
Check the oil level at least once a year.
–
Warm up the machine and place it on level ground
(16b).
–
Align the cutter bar into the horizontal position
(16a).
–
Lift the cutter bar and support it on the side with
vertical gearing and drive using e.g. a 85 mm
wooden rail (16c).
–
Lower the cutter bar so that its outer side is on the
ground and the side with vertical gearing and drive
is on the wooden rail (16c).
–
Wait approx. 15 minutes.
–
The oil level is controlled through the control
opening using a dipstick. Push the dipstick
vertically all the way to the bottom of the cutter bar.
–
Oil level height:
X = 17mm (16c)
ATTENTION!
If it is not possible to accurately determine
the oil level during the check, release the oil
from the cutter bar and add the prescribed
quantity of fresh oil.
An excessive amount of oil in the cutter bar
causes overheating and damage to the
bearings in the flanges.
Draining the oil from the cutter tank
–
Remove the lower slider under the gear.
–
Unscrew the bolt to add oil.
–
Unscrew the bolt to drain oil.
–
Use TEROSTAT 9220 sealant paste where the bolts
for adding/draining oil are located.
Checking the oil level in the main drive
–
To check the oil level, unscrew the screw (14–C) on
the upper compartment of the drive and the screw
(14–D) on the lower compartment of the drive. The
oil level must in both cases be in line with the bore.
Draining the oil from the main drive
–
Unscrew the screw vent (14–A). Unscrew the lower
oil drain plug (14–F).
–
Draining the oil from the upper drive compartment.
–
Unscrew the screw vent (14–B). Unscrew the lower
oil drain plug (14–E).
–
Draining the oil from the lower drive compartment.
–
While tightening the oil drain plugs, use a sealant
paste.
–
When adding oil, check the oil level by unscrewing
the screws (14–C) and (14–D).
–
Make sure the screws on the drive are tightly
refastened.
When turning the drive (14), the procedure described
in section “SETTING OF THE MOWER INPUT DRIVE TO
1,000 (540) rpm” the positions of the vents and the oil
drain plugs must be changed.
–
Replace the vent (14–A) with the oil drain plug (14–
E).
–
Replace the vent (14–B) with the oil drain plug (14–
F).
When turning the drive, make sure the vent
heads are always directed upwards!
Checking the oil level in the vertical gearing
–
Checking the oil level.
–
Warm up the machine and place it on level ground.
–
Unscrew the oil level bolt (15 – A).
–
Check the oil level (15 – B).
Draining the oil from the vertical gearing
–
Unscrew the bolt to check the oil level (15 – A).
–
Unscrew the bolt to drain the oil (on the bottom
part of the gear: 15 – C).
–
While tightening the oil drain bolt, use sealant
paste TEROSTAT 9220.
–
Servicing, maintenance, periodical
checks, cleaning procedures and
functional fault elimination should only
be done when the drive is disabled and
the engine is not running! Remove the
ignition key!
–
Use plant-based grease.
