Make sure to set the mower onto a level
and firm surface.
–
Use wedges to prevent the mower from
unintentionally rolling.
–
When raising or lowering the mower,
make sure that there is no one between
the tractor and the mower.
–
Regularly check the tyre pressure.
–
Also follow the following safety
instructions.
–
Choose a flat, dry and sufficiently hard surface.
–
Lower the support leg (1) and secure it with a safety
pin (2).
–
Lower the mower to the ground and make sure it is
stable.
–
Disconnect the PTO shaft (4) and place it on the
holder (5).
–
Open the valve for raising and lowering the cutter
bar (6) and lower the cutter bar to the floor.
–
Uncouple the hydraulic pipes (7). Secure the pipes
with the quick hitch guards and insert the quick
couplers into the storage on the hitch (8).
–
Disconnect the electrical connection (9).
–
Uncouple the lower levers (10).
–
The disconnected mower must be secured with
wedges.
3. Preparing the machine for mowing and the
mowing
–
Servicing, maintenance, cleaning, and
the removal of blockages and obstacles
should only be done when the drive is
disabled and the tractor engine is not
running! The ignition key must be
removed.
–
The maximum number of PTO shaft
revolutions is 1,000 (540) rpm. Always
mow using the maximum number of
rpm. Accordingly, the appropriate gear
should be used for transport. Particular
care should be taken when mowing
downhill!
–
All guards must be undamaged and in
the protective position.
–
During mowing, there is a risk of hard
objects (stones, blades) flying from the
mower. While mowing, no one should be
within the danger zone of the tractor
and mower!
–
Climbing on the machine during its
operation is forbidden!
–
Riding on the machine is forbidden!
–
Each disc must have two blades. All
blades must be new or equally worn.
–
Damaged or excessively worn discs
must be replaced.
–
Replace a damaged protective canvas
with a new one.
–
Immediately stop mowing in case of a
sudden increase in noise level or
vibration level! Only continue if you
have eliminated the cause of the fault;
otherwise, request a service.
3.1 Basic settings
Lower the mower slowly into the work position
according to instructions for lowering. Adjust the hitch
height according to instructions for transverse
adjustment (2.2.2).
3.1.1 Setting of the mower input drive to 1,000
(540) rpm
–
The input drive (1) is factory-set for
tractors with a power take-off of
1,000rpm. If the power take-off of the
tractor is 540rpm, the input drive (1) of
the mower must be turned.
–
Disconnect the mower.
–
Mount the tow bar to the hoist (B) or
make sure its support in point (A) is
stable!
