6. How to use
• Remove all packing material.
• Check whether all accessories are pres-
ent and undamaged.
• Before first use, wash the pan
|

the frying basket

by hand using warm
water and a mild detergent, and then
dry all parts very thoroughly (see
“Cleaning the hot air fryer and the han-
dle” on page 30).
• Wipe off the hot air fryer
|

with a
slightly damp cloth.
• Place the device
|

on a dry, level,
non-slip surface. This surface should
also be heat-resistant and not be dam-
aged by splashes of hot fat.
• Insert the plug
|

into a wall socket cor-
responding to the specifications of the
rating plate. The wall socket must also
be easy to reach after switching on the
device.
NOTE:
when in operation for the first time,
some smoke and odour may be generated
by the device. This is due to the assembly
materials used for the heating element and
is not a fault in the product. Ensure adequate
ventilation.

7.1 Setting up
• All parts of the hot air fryer

must be
completely dry, when you use the de-
vice.
• Put the hot air fryer on a stable, level,
non-slip, dry, and non-flammable work
surface.
• Do not use the hot air fryer directly un-
der wall units and not near to any cur-
tains, paper or any similar flammable
objects.
• Do not place the device directly under a
wall socket.
• Keep a distance of at least 50 cm on all
sides.
7.2 Filling in the food to be
fried

2. Place the complete, cooled-down unit
on a level, non-slip surface.

If you have preheated, the hot pan
