Block Mode: User or Factory
Purpose of the Block Mode
To preserve predefined block settings (e.g. Factory alignments) from being deleted, the Block Mode has been added to the Service
menu. In the USER mode all blocks, Factory and User setup blocks, can be copied whereas in this mode ONLY the User setup blocks
can be deleted.
The Factory mode is reserved to Barco technician for alignment in the factory or on the site. For that reason, password protection
has been inserted.
How to select the Block Mode ?
1. Push the cursor key é or ê to highlight 'Block Mode' (menu 1).
2. Press ENTER to toggle between USER and FACTORY.

Toggling from Factory to User mode : this transition is not password protected. The user can copy all blocks, indicated with 'F' and
'U' in the COPY mode and delete ONLY the blocks, indicated with 'U' in the DELETE mode (menu 2 & 3).
Toggling from User to Factory mode : this transition is password protected.
Entering the User mode
In 'User' mode, U-blocks will be created automatically when connecting sources corresponding with existing F-blocks.
On these U-blocks, all functionality remains (delete, set to midposition,...). F-blocks can be copied to U-blocks; when trying to delate
a F-block, following warning will be displayed:

Entering the Factory mode (for Barco technician ONLY)
If 'Factory' mode is selected, the message 'Enter password ??' appears on the screen:

in the User Mode

????
The password to fill in, consists of the 4 last digits of the projector serial number (see Start-up Screen for serial number)
After the alignment or corrections are applied, the Barco technician will put the projector again in the default mode= 'User' mode.
