Maintenance
PERIODIC INSPECTION AND TESTING
To insure proper and reliable operation,
inspect and test the system to the latest
edition of NFPA 72
Signaling Systems.
SERVICING
If troubleshooting and servicing guidance is
needed, contact your local Siemens Building
Technologies, Inc. Authorized Service Repre-
sentative.
CHECKOUT PROCEDURE
Prior to installing devices on bases and
applying power to the SXL-EX system, follow
the
Field Wiring Checkout Procedure
(Refer to Table 5, page 27).
On completion of installation, the system
should be thoroughly tested. Check supervi-
sion functions and the functional operation of
each external circuit, as well as the basic
system control panel functions.
