4.2 Transport and storage
NOTICE
Damage during transportation
Unsuitable packaging of the device cannot sufficiently protect it during transplantation. This
can result in transport damage.
Siemens AG assumes no liability for additional costs resulting from transport damage.
● Ensure that the transport conditions are appropriate.
● Use suitable packaging.
● If servicing is required, also observe the information on the returned goods procedure:
→ Appendix (Page 97).
NOTICE
Damage to the device resulting from moisture and infiltration
Since the original packaging of the device only offers limited protection, moisture and
infiltration could damage the device.
● Use at least the original packaging.
● Additionally protect the device by means of further packaging if appropriate.
● Observe the associated transport, storage and environmental conditions. You can find
further information on this at: → Technical specifications (Page 87).
Note
Retain the original packaging
The original packaging provides sufficient protection for the device during transportation and/
or storage.
● Retain the original packaging, e.g. for further transportation or for returning the device.
● If the original packaging is no longer available, transport/store the device in packaging with
comparable properties.
