Releasing the brake 

Procedure

Manual release handle 

●

 

Press the manual release handle in the direction of the NDE. The spring-loaded brake is 

mechanically released. 

You have neutralized the braking force.

Securing the manual brake release 
In the unactuated state, the manual release handle must be in the vertical position, see 

figure. Only in this position is the brake fully closed and the full braking effect ensured. The 

manual release handle can only be removed in the vertical position.

2.

 

Remove the manual release handle. 

You have secured the spring-loaded brake against unintended actuation.
