Universal blade
For cutting and chopping.
The universal blade has to be used at setting

. The working duration depends on
the required degree of cutting.
Herbs (except chives), 10–50g
Cut up in a dry bowl at setting

Quarter the onions.
Cut up at setting

Vegetables or potatoes, raw, 100–500 g
Cut the vegetables/potatoes into pieces.
Cut up several times for 2 seconds each

Quarter the bread rolls.

Remove gristle, bone, skin and sinew
from the meat.
Cut the meat into pieces.

Process the meat with herbs for
sausage meat, stuffing and pâté.
Strawberry sorbet
(serves 2–4 persons)
250 g frozen strawberries
100 g icing sugar
150 ml cream
Mix ingredients at setting
max
until
a creamy ice forms.
Tip:
This recipe can be used to make sorbet
from other fruits, e.g. raspberries, bilberries
and blackcurrants.
Metal kneading hook
For kneading heavy dough and
mixing-in ingredients that ought
not be cut (e.g. raisins and
chocolate chips).
The kneading hook has to be used at setting
min
and
medium
speed.
Pasta dough
500 g flour
5 eggs
Oil, as required
Knead ingredients (except oil) for a short
time at setting
min
.
Then knead for 2–3 minutes on medium
setting to a smooth, firm dough.
If the dough is dry, add a little oil.
Yeast dough
According to what it is to be used for, there are
three different types of yeast dough.
– Light yeast dough e. g. for doughnuts
– Medium yeast dough e. g. for plaited buns
and bread
– Heavy yeast dough for sheet-baked cakes,
fruit cakes and (fruit) crumbles.
To prepare basic dough:
Process 150 ml of warm fluid (milk or
water), crumbled yeast, a pinch of sugar
and 100 g of flour at setting
min
with the
kneading hook.
Allow basic dough to rise.
Process the remaining ingredients as
stated in the recipe.
