If you select
ASCII
you can use the characters

and

plus the special
characters in the ASCII character set.
– With a 64-bit encryption depth the key is exactly 5 characters long.
An example of a valid key: GIGA1
– With a 128-bit encryption depth the key is exactly 13 characters long.
An example of a valid key: GIGASET_SE365

Enter a key in the
Key
field and confirm it by entering it again in the
Confirm key
field.

to apply the settings.

It is very
important
that you make a note of the entered key. You will need this
information to configure the wireless network adapters properly.

When you have concluded the configuration, you must change the
WEP encryption on the wireless network adapters for the connected PCs
in the same way as they will not otherwise be given access to the
Gigaset SE365 WLAN's wireless network.

It is very
important
that you enter the keys that are currently valid in your
wireless network. Otherwise, your Gigaset SE365 WLAN cannot be used to
extend your network.
