Diagnostics alarms
A diagnostics alarm is output for each diagnostics event. The DIAG LED flashes red on the
analog output module. The diagnostics alarms are listed in the diagnostics buffer of the CPU.
You can evaluate the error codes with the user program.
The following tables set out the diagnostics alarms for the set measuring range.
Table 5- 5
Diagnostics alarms, their meaning and remedies

Wire break between the module
and sensor
Connect the cable
Channel not connected (open)

8
H
Value is below underrange.
Correct interplay between module

Error
9
H
Value is significantly above or be-
low underrange/overrange.
Correct interplay between module
and sensor
Parameter error
10
H
•
The module cannot evaluate
parameters for the channel
•
Module parameter assignment
is faulty
Correct the parameter assignment
(wire break diagnostics set only
with the permitted measuring
ranges).

H
Data record 192 ... 195 was not
correctly cyclically received within
5 min
Write data record 192 ... 195
Hardware inter-
rupt lost
16
H
At least one hardware interrupt was
not signaled because too many
hardware interrupts are pending.
Correct the program or the process
1
= The alarm depends on the configured measuring range.
2
= For resistor and thermal resistor measuring ranges with deactivated diagnostics for "wire
break", this is reported by the "Violation of high limit" diagnostic.
