•
The sensors attached to the conveying equipment are operated in conjunction with
the cabinet for the non-contact measurement of objects and decoding of bar codes.
•
Other sensors, such as a photoelectric sensor and an incremental encoder, provide
information about the reading cycle and position determination of the object on the
conveyor belt.
•
The objects are moved past the sensor by a conveying system provided by the
customer.
•
The sensors span one measuring and reading field. In this case, the distance between
the sensors as well as their mounting position and alignment determine the size of the
reading field.
•
A trigger signal at the beginning of the reading field controls the start of the reading
process.
•
The specification of the object release point defines the end. The object release point
refers to the point in time at which the measuring and reading process is completed.
•
The earliest data output time is system-defined. A later data output time can be
defined by the customer.
