Configuration with SOPAS

SOPAS is a configuration tool that is installed on a PC which is usually connected to
the SIM2000-2 Prime controller and sensors via an Ethernet cable.
•
The controller and the sensors connected to them are configured using this tool.
•
The SOPAS configuration interface is device-dependent. Information is displayed in
individual tabs or in a tree structure.
•
SOPAS is also used to perform diagnostics in the event of an error.

The parameter values configured with SOPAS are saved as a parameter set in the
internal EEPROM of the controller and on the microSD memory card of the controller
(cloning).
•
The memory card is inserted into the
MicroSD2
card slot.
•
The memory card makes transmitting the parameter set to a new device quick and
easy when replacing components.
