Particle filter

By using a digital particle filter to pre-process and optimize the measured distance val‐
ues, the device can be tailored to the specific requirements of the respective applica‐
tion.

The particle filter blanks small, irrelevant reflection pulses in dusty environments which
are caused by dust particles or the like. In doing so, successive scans are continuously
evaluated in order to detect static objects.
