SAFETY INFORMATION

Operational safety and specific hazards

Observe the safety information and warnings given here and in other chapters
of these operating instructions to reduce the risk of health hazards and to avoid
dangerous situations.

Use at high operating temperatures
At a process temperature above 50 °C, the sensor housing may become hot.
CAUTION
Danger of burns on the sensor housing
• Only touch the hot housing if you are wearing safety gloves.

Avoid contact of the sensor with flammable substances.

Basic safety instructions

Read these operating instructions before commissioning the device.

These operating instructions are valid for devices with a firmware version of 2.0.0
or higher.

Wiring work and the opening and closing of electrical connections must only be
carried out in a de-energized state.
