Quickstart mode is not intended to be used during normal operation. It requires read
cycle triggering to be configured in the object trigger control settings in SOPAS ET.

Audible status indicator (beeper)
The beeper (buzzer) can be activated with the SOPAS ET configuration software and its
reporting behavior can be configured.
Depending on the operating mode of the device, the beeper uses different tone
sequences (melodies), lengths or individual sounds to indicate the following results:
•
Fulfillment/non-fulfillment of a configured condition in read operation
•
The completion of device functions started by the user using operating keys or
ended by quitting (confirmation of operation steps)
•
Completion of the processing of received commands (positive or negative confir‐
mation)
Beeper default settings:
Volume: Off, quiet (default), loud.
Read operation: “Good read” output result (device has detected the transponder in the
UHF field and read out the UII).
The sound outlet of the beeper is located under the cover film to the right next to the
label of the display field,
