EMC
In accordance with IEC 61496-1, IEC 61000-6-2, and
IEC 61000-6-4
1)
The specified enclosure rating is only valid if the safety laser scanner is closed, the system plug is
mounted, and all of the M12 plug connectors of the safety laser scanner have been closed using a cable
plug connector or using a protective cap.
2)
Values outside specification can prematurely age the device. Values outside specification can affect the
safety laser scanner. This may have a negative impact on the availability of the machine. That is to say,
the safety laser scanner switches off the machine even though there are no people in the protective field.
3)
The temperature of the device must be at least –10 °C when switched on. At lower temperatures the
device must be warmed up before it is switched on.
4)
IEC 61496-1, no. 4.3.1 and no. 5.4.2, IEC 61496-3, no. 4.3.1 and no. 5.4.2. Condensation has an
influence on normal operation.
5)
In direct mounting.
