Editing to Video Equipment
with the DV Terminal
(IEEE1394)

This camcorder enables you to perform digital
video editing, using the camcorder as the
playback source. Connect the camcorder to
video equipment with a DV terminal using a
commercially-available DV cable. A DV cable is
able to transfer all dubbing signals including
video and audio.

Cutting Unwanted Sequences

Perform “Cutting Unwanted Sequences” on
page 65, using the video equipment as the
recording source.

Notes:

• The DV terminal on the camcorder outputs the

normal playback signal regardless of use of
Playback Zoom or Picture Effect Playback.

• The camcorder can only be used as a signal

source, it cannot be used for recording external
video or audio signals (analogue or digital).
