Using the Menu Screens
The menu screens can be used to adjust the
various settings of the camcorder.

Set the Media
Selection switch to
TAPE or CARD.

Hold down the Lock
button and set the
Power switch to
CAMERA or VCR.

Press the MENU/DISPLAY button until
the menu screen appears.

Press the SET-PUSH dial.
• If a setting is displayed to the right of a
menu item, that setting changes each
time you press the dial.

Note:
Pressing the SET-PUSH dial while the
yellow cursor is on the boundary line
between menu items takes you to the next
boundary line for the following menu items.
• If nothing is displayed to the right of a
menu item, the menu screen disappears
and the setting screen appears. Make
any necessary settings on the setting
screen.
Example
To turn off the menu screen
Press the MENU/DISPLAY button.
Notes:
• Certain menu item are common among
Camcorder modes. If the REMOTE menu item,
for example, is set to “OFF” in Tape Recording
mode, it will be automatically set to “OFF” in
other modes.
• The menu screen automatically turns off if no
settings are made within 5 minutes.
