Perform steps 1 - 3 on pages 42 - 43, "Sleep operation".

Press the MEMORY/ENTER button to set the sleep time.

The unit will enter the stand-by mode automatically after the pre-
set sleep time has elapsed.
To cancel the sleep operation:
Setting the unit to the power stand-by mode cancels the sleep operation.
You can also cancel the sleep operation by the following steps without setting the unit
to the power stand-by mode.
1. Whilst in the sleep operation, press the SLEEP button.
2. Within 10 seconds, press the MEMORY/ENTER button. “SLEEP” indicator will go
out.
To confirm the remaining sleep time:
1. Whilst in the sleep operation, press the SLEEP button.
2. Within 10 seconds, press the

button to select “SLEEP”. The
remaining sleep time will be displayed.

After 10 seconds, the display will return to normal.
●
If you press the MEMORY/ENTER button whilst the remaining sleep time is dis-
played, you can change the sleep time. (Perform steps 4 and 5 above.)
Notes:
●
Once the sleep time is set, it will remain unchanged until a new time is entered.
●
The sleep functions cannot be used to control the device connected to this unit.
You must use its sleep functions, if it has them.
