WARNING: do not touch the extruder, even while it’s warming up, since it reaches temperatures up to 230° c. Similarly, do not touch the building plan that can
be heated up to 110° c.
WARNING: do not touch the filament of melted material, but wait until it cools down and solidifies.
4.1 Arrest
To stop the machine at any time you need to move the power switch to the 0 position – OFF and then pull the plug to the wall.
5 | Manutention and Demolition
To ensure maximum reliability to the machine and prevent hazardous conditions observe the instructions and warnings given on the following pages.
DANGER: for security reasons, all maintenance operations given in this chapter should be performed only by qualified and specially trained technicians.
The technicians must also have all the tools and PPE necessary to operate safely.
DANGER: all cleaning and maintenance work on the machine must be carried out with the power switch to the 0 position – OFF and wall plug disconnected.
DANGER: before you intervene on the machine wait for cooling all parts which may reach high temperatures (even 210° C), or the extruder, building plan, the
strand of melted material, the material just settled.
All environmental-impact materials that you need to delete after servicing must be disposed of according to the regulations.
In any case, to carry out all the maintenance or cleaning below at the machine, you will need the following personal protective equipment:
