Input Signal
This function is used to view the type of input signal is detected by the fixture; DMX 512 or RS-232. The
signal cannot be choose as an option, but is automatically set according to input signal presence.
1.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to find the “Sign=DMX” menu

The display will show the type of signal detected at present

PAN and TILT control
This function allows to choose the type of control for PAN and TILT: 16 bit or 8 bit. To choose the type of
control that you want to use, proceed as follows:
1.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to find the “SMD=16 bit” menu
2.
Press “Enter” to confirm the choice. The text on the display will begin to
flash.
3.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the control at “16 bit” or at “8 bit”.
4.
Press “Enter” to confirm the choice.

Display brightness
Operators can select one of the brightnesses available for the Genio Mobile (standard or very low). This
option was included for theatre and television use, where excessive brightness can be disturbing. To adjust
display brightness, proceed as follows:
1.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to find the “Bright” menu
2.
Press “Enter” to confirm the choice. The text on the display will begin to
flash.
3.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the required option from those available.
4.
Press “Enter” to confirm the changes.

DMX delay
It’s possible to decide for how many seconds the fixture must hold the last operating status if there is no
DMX signal. “Delay” time can be set between 0 and 998 seconds. If set at UNL, the fixture will hold its
standby status for an unlimited time. This function is indispensable in the event of the DMX signal being
accidentally interrupted. To set the required time, proceed as follows:
1.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to find the “DMXDLY” menu
2.
Press “Enter” to confirm the choice. The text on the display will begin to
flash.
3.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the required length of time. If UNL
(unlimited) is set, the last valid operating status is held no matter for how
long the DMX signal is missing.
4.
Press “Enter” to confirm the changes.

Day of the week
It is of fundamental importance to set the day of the week on the Genio Mobile if it has to be used later in
Stand-alone mode.
1.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to find the “DAY” menu
2.
Press “Enter” to confirm the choice. The text on the display will begin to
flash.
3.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to select the current day of the week.
4.
Press “Enter” to confirm.
