Calibrating the System
To prepare for calibration:
1. Start with the curtain at the floor.
2. Disconnect the jogger and plug the motor and battery into the controller.
3. Remove the end-of-line diode from the housing junction box.
4. FOR TESTING ONLY terminate each end of the
diode to a wire from the junction box on the housing.
The diode is bidirectional so attach either end to
either wire.
5. Supply power to the unit temporarily so you can use
the rewind switch to run the curtain up and down.
6. Use an extension cord with ground to connect the
pigtail from the housing to the nearest source of
grounded 120VAC.
7. Switch the power ON...
...and STAND BACK. The curtain should roll up into the housing and stop.
To calibrate the system:
From the factory, the unit is calibrated to a
10 foot mounting height. You need to re-
calibrate it for the actual mounting height.
1. Insert a zip tie to press the switch
on the bottom of the housing
frame.
2. Hold it for 4 seconds to calibrate
the unit.
The curtain deploys, and rewinds
back into the housing. It is now
calibrated to the correct drop
height.
