Installing the Curtain Rewind Switch
The curtain rewind switch initiates a temporary roll-up of a deployed curtain, allowing
someone to move through the opening. The curtain then unwinds to the fully deployed
position if the smoke detector is still in alarm.
During shipping, the two sides of the switch are banded together and the wire that
connects the switch to the housing is attached to the inside of the housing. When you
are ready to attach the rewind switch, cut the ties that hold the wire and allow the wire
and switch to drop from the housing.
