Operating Instructions for inflatable Boats according to ISO
6185-1 Category I “SEVEN BASS”
These Operating Instructions must very carefully and completely be read before the utilization of the boat is started!
The instructions given must closely be followed! Non-observance of these instructions may entail considerable risks! The
observance of the warning hints is of particular importance! Take special care to observe the correct sequence of
inflating and of the assembling procedure! The boat driver is obliged to comply with the local navigation regulations
and to observe the instructions of the harbour and river police!
Warning
• Take special precautions during off-shore winds and when there are currents!
• Observe the statements on the Type Board attached and do not exceed them!
• Use this inflatable boat on principle only in protected areas near the shores up to 300 m!
• Take into consideration that you must have enough physical strength to paddle the distance back to the point of
departure.
• Pay attention that you do not land on a stony shore or get into shallow water as this might cause damages of the
film of the boat.
• Do not use this boat at wind forces greater than 4 and/or a height of waves higher than 0.30 meters (1 foot)!
• When a storm is coming up, move immediately to flat waters or to the beach!
• Children are allowed to use the boat only when accompanied by an adult person!
• Children and non-swimmers are urgently advised to constantly wear swimming aids!
• When the weight of persons or cargo is not uniformly distributed across the boat, there is the risk that the boat may
capsize!
• Do not use the boat with its bottom side upwards as a floating diving board!
• Do not effect any changes at the boat that may impair the safety and that may cause, as a consequence, any
risks!
• Do not leave the boat when it is damaged during use on the water. In case one air chamber fails, the boat will still
stay above water with all passengers thanks to its strong buoyancy force. The double-chamber system guarantees a
safe manoeuvrability.
• In deep water always enter the boat via the stern as the boat may capsize if you enter from the sides.
• Pay attention that you always carry the paddles with you during use of the boat as otherwise the boat cannot be
manoeuvred correctly.

The Unpacking
Before you unfold the boat, take a good look at how the boat is folded together.
Unfold the boat in a flat surface and check if all parts did come with the boat (valves, wooden seat or inflatable
thwart, foot-pump, oars, aluminium inside-joiners, side-joiners, repair-kit and carrying bag)
Before you place the floor, you have to inflate a bit the air chambers (except the keel). Make sure to use the foot-
pump that comes with the boat (Never use High Pressure pump)
Valves
The valves are pre-assembled, you can leave them permanently. Loosen the front cap and place pump hose to fill
the boat. Inside the valve, press and turn the nipple and it will come out. The valves will close the same way too.
