A common
radio
configuration if you are working in rover mode is:
•
Protocol: Trimtalk
•
Sensitivity: High
It is possible that you will require more than one receiver Settop M1 for proper dynamic monitoring. It will
depend the points, antennas and stations to be controlled and the connection method used. Settings are the
same for the other receivers. Once the receivers are configured, we go to the external control software to
control the movements of the structure.
Dynamic Monitoring with Total Station
For dynamic monitoring you need the following accessories:
•
Total Station High Precision
•
USB cable
•
Targets
To perform an monitoring or continuous monitoring job it is necessary to ensure continuous power supply to
the receiver. To do this, connect the power supply into the COM1.
The connection with the total station is via port 2 but can also be done via Bluetooth (see section
Connecting
to the Total Station
). We recommend using cable connection because with a USB connection you can reset
the system if in the event of failure. Another difference between using the wireless or cable system is the
number of stations that can be controlled. While Bluetooth can control up to 4 stations, USB cable can only
handle a single total station.
Through the web interface you can access the total station. If it is connected, the light appears in green (next
to the symbol used: Bluetooth or USB connection) and the control of the movements are performed through
external software, like TDCM and the software for the structures.
