Select a talkgroup
You can use one of the following methods to select a talkgroup:
Press the Mode key (once) to activate the talkgroup selection box.
Press a customised context key from the Home Screen to activate the
talkgroup selection box.
From the
Menu
navigate to the
Groups
menu.
Use a soft key to return to your Home Group.
Mode key
1. Press the Mode key (once). The current selected folder and talkgroup
appear in a selection box.
Tip:
To quickly change to another talkgroup within the same folder,
enter the number of the talkgroup. If the talkgroups is not in the same
folder, select the All Folder and enter the number of the talkgroup.
2. Use the navigation keys to scroll through the folders. The arrows in the
folder name and level areas show which navigation keys you can use. Use
the
Left and Right
navigation keys to move between folders at the same
level, and the
Up and Down
navigation keys to move between the folder
levels (sub-folders).
3. Rotate the Navi-knob to select the desired talkgroup within the folder. The
directional arrows under the talkgroup name indicate the rotational
direction of the Navi-knob.
4. Press the
Select
context key to attach to the talkgroup.
