The emission warranty covers damage to other engine components that is caused
by the failure of a warranted part. The BRP Operator’s Guide provided contains
written instructions for the proper maintenance and use of your boat. All emission
warranty parts are warranted by BRP for the entire warranty period of the boat,
unless the part is scheduled for replacement as required maintenance in the
Operator’s Guide.
Emission warranty parts that are scheduled for replacement, as required main-
tenance, are warranted by BRP for the period of time before the first scheduled
replacement date for that part. Emission warranty parts that are scheduled for
regular inspection, but not regular replacement, are warranted by BRP for the en-
tire warranty period of the boat. Any emission warranty part repaired or replaced
under the terms of this warranty statement is warranted by BRP for the remainder
of the warranty period of the original part. All parts replaced under this limited
warranty become the property of BRP. Maintenance receipts and records should
be transferred to each subsequent owner of the boat.
