– ASCII Setup dialog box
Make sure this dialog box is setup as shown. These settings are important in
maintaining proper character I/O with your instrument. You are now ready to
use HyperTerminal to establish instrument communications.
You should only have to go through this setup process once. HyperTerminal
will save all your connection information in a HyperTerminal file (*.ht). To
reestablish your connection, simply open this file. HyperTerminal will open and
automatically connect to the serial port with the saved settings.
